September 15, 2014

Today, we went and toured more of Bornholm before heading to Copenhagen.

We went to the white sand beach of Dueodde.  There was path to it from the parking lot over a wooden plank path.  There was sand all the way back to the parking lot.

The white sand beach of Dueodde.

Hello Baltic Sea.

This is the flag of Bornholm - green and red.  Denmark's flag is red and white.

Bornholm is full of picturesque towns on the edge of the sea.

I love that all the buildings are different colors.

Third round church:  Ă˜sterlars Church

You could go up the side of the church through a small stairway, up to the second level.

View from the second story.

The stairway was very narrow.

And from the third story.

We next went on to the town Gudhjem.

As I said, picturesque little towns.  :)

Beautiful Baltic Sea

After walking around Gudhjem, we went to a Fish Buffet.  It was so good!  Granted, I love fish, but it was seriously so good.  There was marinated fish, smoked fish, and grilled.  I am not sure what type of fish each one was, but it was so good!

That is a smoke stack that is used for smoking fish.

Next, we went to the last round church - Sankt Ols Church.

Then, it was time to head back to Denmark.

The view from the Ferry back to Denmark.  This is trip back was much less rocky.  :)

We came home to Copenhagen.  Look at the beautiful Copenhagen Denmark Temple.
