Today is Christmas Eve. We were all at Julie and Randy's by 3:30 for dinner.


I totally burned my finger on the gravy. It was in the gravy boat and I picked it up and it spilled and immediately blistered. Awesome!



After dinner, we did the talent show and the nativity.

Today was the first sacrament meeting of our new ward, which is huge.
Tonight we had a ham and turkey dinner at Mike and Amy's. It was great. Tonight we did a white elephant gift exchange. I had a singing Gorilla and ended with a book of Awkward Family Pet Photos. I gave a Lady Gaga toothbrush and toothpaste that tastes like a cupcake.

Today, I went to work so I could be off from December 26. I was originally going to be on the front desk for the day, but Kathryn was there, so I just was at my desk. Everyone was a little surprised to see me at work. It was entertaining. It makes you feel important.

Tonight, I had two dinners to go to. One with the Stake President, President Featherstone, and all the released Relief Society presidencies from Sunday and one for all my friends with White Elephants. I only made it to one, but sent a White Elephant to the other one.
It was a nice dinner and just a way to say Thank You.

Tonight was our Ward Christmas party. It was down at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was amazing. The Activities Committee made to movies, plus it was an Ugly Sweater Contest

Today my bishopric was released from our ward and we were combined with another ward to become the Holladay YSA Ward. It was a bittersweet kind of day. I also was released today.
Tonight I went to a stake musical fireside for Christmas. We have a lot of talent in the stake.

Today was our Holiday party for work. We had lunch at Market Street Grill and then an open house dinner at Gregg Christensen's that night.
The luncheon had assigned seating and everyone received a new jacket for Christmas.

Today I went to our Holiday lunch with Wells Fargo at Trio. I was invited because I helped create a few accounts this year for our properties. Also invited was our head accountant, Carmen, our Comptroller, Dan and our CFO, Susan. It was a good lunch.



Afterwards, they gave us all presents. Mine was a pony named Snowflake. They give out a pony a year.

Tonight we had our last Relief Society Activity as the Holladay 3rd Ward. We had tomato soup and cheese sandwiches and made blankets for Primary Children's. It was great.



Amazing home made tomato soup. We also had Gingerbread Blondies with white chocolate. It was amazing!

Today I had a brunch with some high school friends, which was pretty good.
Tonight I went and saw "A Christmas Carol: The Musical" t Pioneer Memorial Theater. It was amazing! I loved it. I thought Scrooge was amazing! I knew Geoff Hemingway, who played Young Scrooge.






The Ghost of Marley scene was one of my favorites.
However, getting back home was little scary with mostly sheer ice on the road. 25 MPH on the freeway.

Today I stayed late again at work, this time helping my own department. We had to get these packets out. We had someone else help us as well. I ended up heading to a post office that picks up at 10:00 pm. Good times.

Tonight I stayed a little after work to help some co-workers get some packages ready to go out tomorrow.


This morning it was rather gray outside and as I was leaving I saw some gray that was hopping. It was Fluffers, out again. I may have caught him tonight while I was outside and saw him. I used my jacket to throw over him and just picked him up and put him in his cage. Master escape artist, I tell you.

Tonight, my presidency went to get the fabric for our Relief Society activity in a week. We are making blankets for Primary Children's and having dinner. It will be great. We, then, went to Brother Phillipoom's for FHE. They are great!!

Tonight I went to the Knight's and did gingerbread houses. More correctly, I finished Maggie's when she got bored with doing it. It was awesome fun. I love doing Gingerbread Houses.

Happy Birthday to me!!

Today was great. Erika and Amanda took me to lunch at Zupa's for my birthday. I love their mushroom soup. It is amazing!



After work, Wendy, Kyle and I went and got the Christmas tree in the rain. We put it up in the garage for right now.



Tonight, Julie, Wendy, Kyle and I went to The Cheesecake Factory for yummy cheesecake. I love the Ultimate Red Velvet!

Happy Birthday Mike!!

Tonight I went and saw two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation season 2. It was episodes "Q Who?", where you meet the Borg and "The Measure of a Man", where they determined if Data could make choices for himself. I love that episode.
