Today I watched the Knight kids while Julie and Randy went to PMT to see "In the Heights". Maggie colored on my phone while the kids played the Wii and Thor hopped around the compound.



Maggie just colored the page all to one color and then changed colors and did it again.


My phone may been receiving text messages while she was playing and the best part is that it is her saying, "A pirates life for me." She would hand me the phone, repeat "A pirates life for me" and hand me my phone.


Tonight was the General Relief Society Broadcast. I went down to the Conference Center. We may have been 10 minutes late because of an accident on the freeway. It was a great meeting about how you are never alone eternally, even if you feel you are eternally.

Today after work I went to the Knights to ask a question and ended up staying for five hours. I played "Guess Who" with James and had dinner with them, after the kids asked if I was staying. After dinner, we watched "Blackbeard's Ghost". I think that movie is great. I love the old school live action Disney movies. :)


Tonight, The Piano Guys were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They performed "What Makes You Beautiful.". They did great!

Today the Twins celebrated their birthdays with a party with over 40 kids! It was a jungle-themed party. Julie can do amazing things with cake.

Tonight I went over to Kaylene Martin's and we watched "The Court Jester". Kaylene had never seen it. I love that movie!! Always good for a good giggle. Get it. Got it. Good.

Today I came home from work at 9:30. I was not feeling well at all. By 6:00, I was feeling okay. Tonight was the Roadshow for the Holladay South Stake. Julie was in charge of the one for the Holladay 18th ward. She did a great job! It was hilarious!!

Happy Birthday Topher!!!



Today was the Brigham City Temple Dedication. President Boyd K. Packer, Elder L. Tom Perry and Elder Russell M. Nelson dedicated the temple. President Packer and Elder Nelson are from Brigham City. President Packer has been praying that he would live long enough to see the Temple dedicated.
I loved the talk that Elder Nelson gave, as well as the First Counselor in the Temple Presidency's wife. We went down to the Assembly Hall to watch it.

Happy Birthday Thea!!



Today we went to Training Table and then to get pedicures for Thea's birthday. She was in heaven. It was awesome. The ladies at the pedicure place couldn't believe the story of the twins birth.
Tonight I went up to Oakley to a friends cabin, just to enjoy the mountains.

Tonight I went to the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus with Kaylene Martin. I loved it!! I love the elephants. I think they are so cute. The lions weren't very happy tonight, but at least no one got hurt. :)

Happy Birthday Maggie Jane!!



Tonight after work I went to the twins soccer game and then took them to the church to their parents. They are great little soccer players. There are 2 1/2 sets of twins on their team. One half of one set doesn't play.



Glad I filled up my gas tank when I did... My tank is 15 gallons.

Tonight I went to a live taping of The Piano Guys in concert for a PBS/KBYU special for December. It was amazing! They had to repeat some of the songs to get a better recording. My favorites were Beethoven's 5 Secrets and A Thousand Years.

Tonight was the stake talent show. They had different acts. A girl did Victor Borge's Phonetic Punctuation, while another yodeled. One guy sang "Rainbow Connection" while imitating Kermit the Frog's voice and one guy did a live version of the game Fruit Ninja. My favorite was the violinist who played Danny Boy and the Happy Canary.

Tonight I went to dinner at Brian and Elizabeth's. Elizabeth's two sisters were there and a boyfriend and Uncle Tom and I. We had some amazing chicken and stuffed mushrooms. Then we played games and had amazing peach pie.

Today, after I mowed the lawn (which included 6 bags of grass and 1 bag of rotten fruit) I went to the Utah State Fair with Kaylene. She hasn't been in 10 years. It was awesome. I "made" her go on the Big Yellow Slide. She will now be back every year for it.

Happy 15th Anniversary Mike & Amy!!
Tonight I went to Stake Temple night at the Salt Lake Temple. I do love going to the Temple and feeling the Spirit there.
We were late for the Chapel meeting because of all the people, but it was okay because the lady that I was doing work for has been waiting since 1757.



Afterwards Raquel Smith, Jen Bainum and I went to Hires Big H for dinner.

Happy Birthday Michael!
Tonight we went to the Utah State Fair. It was great. It was ice cream night. Always a good night to go.
On my way to the fair, huge rainstorm hit Holladay.

The butter sculpture. The Hunger Games with cows. They will save the butter and use it again next year. Enough butter for 19,200 pieces of toast. One Utah cow will make this much butter in one year.






No that is not a rabbit. It is a chicken....
