Today, we drove home from California and Disneyland. Always sad to leave the Happiest Place on Earth. Our car had an uneventful ride back while the other car had a flat tire and left 4 hours after us. This is the same car that had a warning on our way.

Today I was at Disneyland Resort from 8:10 am to 12:40 am. Yep, I was there all day. A girl in our group, Alyssa and I were both ready this morning so we went and did things that no one else really wanted to do...it's a small world, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, Tiki Room (only ones there) among others. We were joined at 10 by Jen and Garrett and then everyone else joined us at Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. It was a good, long day last day at the parks.
It was nice to go to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln on Memorial Day.


Alyssa and I were about 7 people back from the front row of the fireworks. Awesome! Hello Tinker Bell and Dumbo.

Today, after we went to Sacrament and I saw my old Bishop from when I was here in 2010 in the Stake Presidency, we went down to Huntington Beach and I enjoyed my book Matched.

Today I drove to Anaheim to go to Disneyland!! Nice long car ride... Tonight, we went to Mama Cozza's, an Italian place. I got Mussels with Alfredo and linguine. It was really good. I couldn't finish it all by any means.

Tonight I went and played softball for FHE. I didn't do as bad as I thought. I actually hit the ball more often than not! I went to catch a ball and my feet weren't going fast enough and I fell and rolled over. Everyone was surprised at how graceful I was.

Today, it finally hit that I have a new calling and I am actually the Relief Society President. We were in our regular presidency meeting and everyone was looking to me for direction.
Tonight, we went to Wendy and Kyle's for dinner. Amazing as usual. Brian and Elizabeth told us the best news. Uncle Tom showed us the Eclipse by using two plates and a safety pin.
Maggie was stung by a wasp, a light broke and I fell up the concrete stairs going back in to get the sweater that I thought I had left and it was in my car...

This morning I went to Samantha's dance recital at Woods Cross. It was called A Sea Fantasy, written by the directors of the Bountiful School of Ballet. Samantha was a Flame Fish. She did great!! I loved all the music that was chosen. It was mostly John Williams music, mostly from Hook. I loved it!!

Tonight I went to the Mini Shakespearean Festival at Olympus High School. I can't believe that it has been 8 years since I was there and they have been doing it for 22 years. Crazy! Since the field is gone, they did it in the courtyard of the school.

"Man of La Mancha" was amazing tonight up at PTC. The lead was phenomenal. I actually bought his CD and he signed it. Josh went with us for his birthday and he met Sancho, Adonza and Don Quixote. It was so cool to meet them and see them and talk to them.

Today I went to Lagoon to watch my niece in a clogging competition. It was a totally different type of competition that I have seen, but I really enjoyed it.



At the end of the day, I walked around Pioneer Village. I saw things I had never seen before. A model train hut, a small model of a circus and the carriage house.

Tonight, we all went to Julie and Randy's house for birthday dinner for Sophia and Josh. While the adults were chatting, the kids built a fire in the driveway. It started out as lit by a magnifying glass and then a lighter helped it along. They decided to roast marshmallows...
