Today, we had a Relief Society meeting for Stake Conference and then this afternoon we had our general session at the Assembly Hall on Temple Square.

Tonight, we had birthday/ family dinner for April and May. I did fruit. :)

This morning, after going into work at 7:30, we got done around 11:20. I ran into the house, changed, and went and picked up Sarah and Samantha for Baptisms. We had to get going quickly, so we took a stoplight selfie, if you will. :)

We had a crazy rainstorm today and the mountains got snow. Welcome to Utah weather. This is a view from our Stake Center for Stake Conference.

This was a crazy day. I left the house for work around 7:50, came home for 20 minutes at lunch and then wasn't home until 11:30ish this night and went straight to bed. We had a large project to get out and left at 7:30 to go to dinner that had been planned. We are going back in tomorrow morning to finish. After the dinner, I went to Kaylene's to play games.

These are some cute ladies that I work with. We went to dinner at Red Rock.
Amanda Turley, Natalie Challier, Anne Baker, Rachel Spohn, Cara Jessop, Leigh Fredericks, and Erika Berrett.

I took veggies with me to work as a snack. I also had a small bag of M&Ms. John who I work with decided to make me earn the M&Ms, so he put them far away saying I would have to get up and get one.

So, there were two spiders above my head when I woke up this morning. You can't really see them, but yikes!

Tonight, the Kobe's invited me up for dinner. Wendy made stew.
I pulled up and Janey popped out of a box that she was hiding in while outside with Kyle.

Today, we had a gross storm come through Utah. It was mostly dirt and then mixed with water from the storm.

April 20, 2014

Happy Easter!
After church, I went up to Peterson and saw the Kobe's home and watched "Easter Parade".
Janey may have found the bread in the backseat and started eating it.

I left before it ended to get to Brian and Elizabeth's for dinner. I took peach jello. It may have had too much water in it...

Happy Easter to me. Strawberry and chocolate egg and a Carmel egg. Yum!

#BecauseofHim I have an eternal family!

I finished "Easter Parade" at home and it was at the exact same spot as when I left. Apparently that isn't the first time I have stopped it there.

April 19, 2014

Today we celebrated Easter at the house. We did an Easter egg hunt around the house.

Afterwards, we went and rolled eggs (and ourselves) down the hill at Churchill.

Then, we did sandwiches at Julie and Randy's house. Molly absolutely loved the chips!

I mowed the lawn for the first time for the year.  :)  I do love mowing the lawn. A) You can see what you accomplished and B) It gives me a time to think.  I was trying to start the mower, and my nice neighbor George Benis came over and helped me start the mower.

April 17, 2014

Tonight, I went and saw "The Wizard of Oz" at Olympus Junior High.  It was adorable.  The four leads - Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion - were great!  I also loved the Wizard.  The costumes were stunning, as well as the sets.  It was amazingly done for a junior high.  (The show had to be set back a month, since part of the set burned down when some hay in Kansas set caught fire.)

We had these beautiful flowers delivered to our office.  We are having flowers delivered weekly to our office.  These beautiful pink flowers came through today.  They look like they belong in Seuss or in Little Shop of Horrors.  They are hard and pink on the outside and soft and purple on the inside.

I went out to dinner with Wendy and some friends tonight.  We tried to give Janey a lemon.  It didn't go so well.  :)

April 15, 2014

Tonight, I took Michael and Addy to see "Frozen" at the Water Garden Theater in Holladay.  It is a great show!  The kids loved it.  We were the only ones in the entire theater.

Third time works. :). Bright flash anyone?

April 14, 2014

Tonight, I went up to the Kobe's and died Easter Eggs with Wendy, Janey, Michael and Addy, after we went to dinner at Arby's.

We may have given Janey a hard-boiled egg and she made a complete mess, but at least she is cute.

Dancing with the Stars was a Disney night tonight! Adorable!

The beginning of the lunar eclipse. :)

Happy Birthday Wendy!!

Some of us went over to Julie & Randy's for dinner and dessert.

Cute Molly with a donkey head on from "No Strings Attached".

Janey and Molly wanting to go and play with the big kids outside.

Today is Palm Sunday.  Wonderful memories from 2008 in Jerusalem.

April 12, 2014

So, I have a new way of exercising - an exercise ball.  :)  This one has sand in the bottom as a weight to keep it from rolling.  That is great!  I love doing it while I watch shows like "Face Off" and "Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge".  Shows that can keep my attention on them, not what I am doing. :)

Can you tell I had a visitor playing in my basement?

April 11, 2014

Today, at 4:00 p.m., I went to see "Les Miserables" at Hale Center Theater. It was absolutely amazing!! I loved it. This was the first time I have actually teared up watching this musical on stage.

An interesting lighting choice was when someone died in the musical, a bright white light was shown. I thought that was so interesting and I really liked it. This showing made all of the characters seem more human in some way.

The sets were amazing and I loved how they did it on the round stage.

Afterward, I went to Janey's one-year-old birthday party. Julie designed some amazing cakes for the jungle theme party. They were so cute!!!

Cute Janey with her birthday cake and being sung to. She wasn't quite sure what to do, but when no one stopped her from eating the cupcake, she had at it.
