Happy Leap Day!

I was home sick all day today. Cute Wendy and Janey brought me some supplies this morning and was able to set up my Netflix on the TV in the basement.

I watched the entire first season (13 episodes) of Fuller House, a sequel to Full House that played in the 1990s.

Samantha, Sarah and I went down to Snow College to see "The Scarlet Pimpernel". It was amazing!! The costumes, set and singing were incredible. I love that show!

Do you have those soundtracks you could listen to over and over and never get sick of? This is one of mine. I have listened to it for three days at work, and still not sick of it. :)






I have the original Broadway version with Mandy Patinkin and then a recording of the 25th anniversary they just did. I love this musical!!

My nephew, Topher, is awesome! I went over to the Knight's to grab a Wii remote, so I could use the step we have. They got me the remote, and then Topher brought me two batteries, just in case the two inside the remote were dead.

I wouldn't be watching Janey if Peter Pan (on VHS) wasn't playing. :). She will want to play and then when she hears the opening music, she settles in to watch.


We whispered while we gathered the blanket and pillow.

Also, today, I called Rachel Miller Porter for her birthday. We have been friends since preschool. Her husband asked me earlier to call her and give her a message - " Have courage and be kind". I would love to hear what that was about. :)

Happy Birthday Ella!!

Just a memory of this winter... Darn mice. Have caught 4 so far, and hopefully no more. They came and added a combination of white pepper and petroleum jelly to get anyone else out.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Julie and Randy invited me up to the Knight cabin for Valentine's dinner. Julie made an awesome cheesecake, with homemade fruit preserve topping. So good!! We played Rage, and I bid 2 on two different hands and took 4 both times. I was 10 in the hole halfway through the game...

This is one of those days when you must be doing something right, because everything works out.

This picture is of the FedEx guy emptying the box that was supposed to have a 7:00 pickup, that I would have missed. This picture was taken at 7:06. I was late getting to the drop off - such as late enough the building had been locked. Luckily, this guy came out and I mentioned that I had placed our packages in there. The sign on the box said the pickup had not occurred. He opened it up and realized the pickup had really not occurred. I win!!!

Tonight, for Kaylene and Christine's birthday, we headed up to the Midway Ice Castles at Soldier Hollow.

Frozen water with places to climb through, a slide and the floor was crushed ice and snow.

I was definitely dressed warm, but got cold as the night went on.
