Megan took us out to the distribution center for printed materials. This building was amazing! It was 40,000 square feet and had a conveyor belt that went everywhere to gather mail and then drop it off at the mailroom. They printed everything on huge rolls of paper and then cut it down and stuffed it on an envelope on the same machine.
It reminded me of a Picture Picture from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.
Next to this building was another office building for DST. This one was built inside an old roundhouse for the trains. Since it was a historical building, the floor had to be built up a few feet. There are still the arms to move the train cars inside the building.
This was the view in the back.
Afterwards, we ran by the City library, which was down the street from the DST building we were having our meetings in.
This is the parking structure.
The library is the home of an old bank and there are still bits and pieces of the bank around.
