Tonight I went to the Utah Symphony. The concert was entitled "Disney's Pixar." It was great. They played medleys from each of the Pixar movies. I loved it!!
And yes, that is Buzz Lightyear looking like a conductor.

I thought it was interesting, because on the screen they played scenes from each of the movies and focused a little longer on some scenes- those that people remember.
"Toy Story" - Buzz flying with Woody and the claw machine
"Finding Nemo" - Swim down to get out the net scene.
"Ratatouille" - the rats in the kitchen, making the Ratatouille
"A Bug's Life" - The Circus show
"Wall-E" - The dancing scene between Wall-E and Eva.
"Toy Story 2" - the scene when Woody gets cleaned up.
"Cars" - the final race and Lightening McQueen helping The King across the finish line and the drive with Sally
"Up" - the sequence of Carl and Ellie's life together and the balloons flying.
"The Incredibles" - Mr. Incredible training and the ending fight
"Monsters, Inc." - the scare floor opening, the door scene and trying to find Boo's door and "Kitty".
"Cars 2" - the opening car chase scene and the World Grand Prix
"Brave" - Mom as the bear and the fight with the mean bear.
"Toy Story 3" - Lotso's story, Spanish Buzz and the green aliens using the claw. :)
The encore was a performance of "You've Got a Friend in Me" with more scenes and the 4 different composers.
It was a great symphony.
I think I may have seen a lot of Pixar movies - even with the speaker in my way, I knew exactly what was happening in the middle of the screen.
