Just a little bit of dust from the construction going on behind me at work. :)

Today was a Thursday, that acted like a Friday.
We said goodbye to John Edwards today. He is going on to a new job with a new company.
I will miss John. When I first joined Cottonwood, he was there and said that I couldn't leave until he left. He calls me Cindy, because he knows that my favorite princess is Cinderella. It will be sad not to see him around the office anymore.
This was the best picture I could get, since he doesn't love pictures. :)

Today, we were back at DST for more meetings.
Megan took us out to the distribution center for printed materials. This building was amazing! It was 40,000 square feet and had a conveyor belt that went everywhere to gather mail and then drop it off at the mailroom. They printed everything on huge rolls of paper and then cut it down and stuffed it on an envelope on the same machine.
It reminded me of a Picture Picture from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.
Next to this building was another office building for DST. This one was built inside an old roundhouse for the trains. Since it was a historical building, the floor had to be built up a few feet. There are still the arms to move the train cars inside the building.
This was the view in the back.
Afterwards, we ran by the City library, which was down the street from the DST building we were having our meetings in.
This is the parking structure.
The library is the home of an old bank and there are still bits and pieces of the bank around.

Today, we started our meetings at DST. Their building was huge and is one of nine in Kansas City. We are working with them for one of our investments. It is the investment that I have been working with for the last 3-3 1/2 years.
The view from our meeting room.
Tonight, we went to the Royals game. They lost, but we had a good time.

Today I travelled home from St. George and then was home for an hour and a half before catching a flight to Kansas City, MO for work.
This was the drive home from St. George. Somewhere in the middle of Utah.
Our propeller jet from Denver to Kansas City. The plane was tiny!
The beautiful building in downtown Kansas City, MO.
The awesome hotel that we stayed in. It is called the Hotel Phillips. It reminded me of the Hollywood Hotel that houses the Tower of Terror. :)
Our dinner at Lidia's. It was amazing! I had homemade pasta.

After enjoying a relaxing day in Washington City, Kaylene and I went back to Tuacahn to see Beauty and the Beast. These was a serious chance it could have been rained out. There was a huge storm that rolled through.
It amazes me that the same people that were in the show last night, were in the show tonight.

Today, Kaylene and I drove down to St George to go to Tuacahn. The show playing tonight was When You Wish.
It was great! It went through different Disney shows to create the dreams of a little girl. The shows included Snow White (with the Seven Dwarfs), Jungle Book (with an awesome Baloo), Tangled, Aladdin, Newsies, Pocahontas and few others. It was so great!
Great way to spend Disneyland's 60th birthday!
