Tonight, I went down to the float preview for the Days of '47 parade. I love the creativity put into these floats.

The bunny is doing Family History and look who his grandparents were: Peter Rabbit, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail. No one will see this, but it was on the screen. Loved it!!

Tonight, I was invited up to Sundance to see "Fiddler on the Roof" on preview night. I was invited by Andrea and Mike, Jake and Chase were all in it. It was nice to go with extended family.
It was a great show with some great music!





Forewarning if you go to Sundance: be prepared to hike, unless you want to wait for the shuttle/tractor. :)

Today, I went up by Solitude/Brighton to hike with Kaylene and Kevin. We first went to Silver Lake.


And then to a Hidden waterfall.

Tonight, I went to Real Salt Lake tonight. It ended up in a tie, which was a little sad, but at least we had a good time.

I was chased by Molly with a shark on her finger.

Today I went river tubing down the Provo River with friends. It was really a lot of fun, even if I couldn't figure out how to move the right way and got stuck more than once.


I didn't realize quite how cold the water was until I climbed out and couldn't feel my feet as I walked.

Happy Birthday Addy!
Tonight, we went up the canyon to have a hot dog roast.
The picture of the stairs is for this reason: I fell down the last few, while holding Janey. She is totally fine. I rolled my ankle and just fell and feels like I hit my other ankle. My arm doesn't look that great either. Can you say ouch!?!


Wendy was in charge of s'mores and gave each family of bag to make their s'mores from.


I loved the mint/marshmallow one. With the caramels, you had to figure out how to melt it down.


We stayed around the fire and told stories and sang songs.

Tonight we had our family pool party at Flamingo Hills pool.
After pulled pork with coleslaw, we got in the pool.
We made our own wave pool.





We celebrate Addy's birthday, which is tomorrow, with Creamies. That is a lot of kids in one baby pool.

Happy Birthday Becky!!

Today, after work, I went and joined the family for dinner and then we went to Hollywood Connection. More correctly, the family went back and I joined.
We all went roller skating. I tried. I am much better on roller blades. Didn't feel like I was going to fall as often.


Afterwards, Samantha, James and I went and mini golf. We didn't keep score or anything, but had a good time. I totally got a hole in one without cheating. James and I started playing hockey around a hole while we waited for Samantha. This course was interesting: Old West, City Scraper, Ocean, Pirates to the Dinosaurs.

Tonight, we celebrated July birthdays up at Wendy and Kyle's. The two birthdays in the state are James and Addy.

Today was the last day of the reunion. We ended in the beautiful Manti Temple. After the session, it was nice to talk to my uncles and aunts and hear their stories of the temple. We went and saw the spiral staircase in the towers afterwards.

Happy Independence Day!!
We had a flag ceremony this morning.


Our family then went to Moroni to enjoy the parade. Before the parade, a crop duster flys over and drops ping pong balls. You then trade in the balls for prizes.

We went over and enjoyed the festivities in Manti. Wendy, Julie, Amy and I participated in the potato sack race...



Angela had these great drinks for today. Cranberry juice, Piña Colada and Blue Gatorade - Awesome!


We ended the night with a firework show over the Manti Temple.

Today, after work, I made it down to the Christensen Family Reunion. We have this reunion every 2 years, and have so for the last 30ish years.
We have an auction every reunion to raise money for the scholarship. I bought this painting my cousin did of my Nana's house. Isn't is beautiful?


We enjoyed popsicles during the auction. :)
