Tonight I went with three girls in my ward to get ice cream at Farr's Ice cream. It was delicious. I may have gotten in trouble for not telling my friend about it, and luckily they had it. It was awesome!!

Tonight we had an amazing Relief Society activity that we invited the Elder's to as well. It was a brother and sister who are professional Dutch oven cookers. It was amazing and the food was great. We had Confetti Spaghetti and Umguli, rolls and three different desserts all from the dutch ovens. They taught how to cook and use a Dutch oven properly. The wind picked up and you could smell everything while it was cooking. It was amazing!
Not so amazing was afterward when my car wouldn't start... Don't worry. I got home and it worked fine this morning. My nice brother called to make sure everything was okay after his wife saw my Facebook status.

Happy Birthday Zoey!
Tonight for FHE we went to the Salt Lake City Cemetery and had a tour given by a professional historian. This gentleman had helped with the Joseph Smith Papers for the church. He took us to different church leaders headstones and explained who they were. We had an amazing turn out to FHE last night. It was great.
I did not realize that there are actually 5 cemeteries in the one. There are three Catholic cemeteries, one Jewish and then the normal cemetery as well. All bodies are buried to the east.

Tonight I went to the Brigham City Temple Open House with Kaylene Martin. The temple is absolutely beautiful, with all the peach blossoms inside. However, it was a different kind of experience after having already been through the temple for my own endowment.

Today after work I helped Christine Helquist fill up water balloons for FHE tonight. That was a lot of balloons. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to do the balloons. The bathroom may have been a little late afterwards...









All these balloons lasted for about 10 minutes....
At FHE, I had a rather large balloon dumped all over me. Good times.

Tonight I went to dinner at Brian and Elizabeth's, but needed to leave a little early to get to a fireside. It always makes me laugh when I drive up to our Stake Center. There is a road called Lois Lane.



Everything around it is about space, Pluto Way, Juno Circle.
The Salt Lake Valley could use some rain right about now.

This morning I mowed the lawn. It took about 2 hours longer than normal... First of all, the mower broke. Not the motor or anything, just the handle, which makes it harder to use. Of course, it was halfway through the front lawn. I went and borrowed the Knight's mower and just walked it back home, finished the mowing and then walked it back. It was uphill the entire way back. Good times. :)



Tonight I went and saw "Fiddler on the Roof" down at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theater with Richard Price. It was a good show. I liked it.

Tonight I went and saw Vocal Point down at BYU with Kaylene Martin and Jen Bainum. As always, it was a great show. I love that they can put spiritual music in with everything else.






We went to the BYU creamery afterwards, and since it was slightly crazy, we got ice cream from the freezer and went and ate on the grounds of the Provo Temple.

Tonight, for FHE we played dodgeball with toilet paper rolls with tape around them so that they wouldn't come unravelled. By the end, there were small pieces of toilet paper everywhere.

Tonight I had a dinner and training for Relief Society Presidencies in my stake. It was a great training. It was interesting, because I was there for the last training when it was just the presidents, but I was there as a counselor and it was nice that I was there to know what was happening this time around. I was one of the more seasoned presidents in the group.

Today I went and spot cleaned the carpets at work after I spilled salsa on them this past week.


Afterwards, I came home and mowed the lawn and cleaned up the fallen plums. It is weird that plums are falling since the ones on the tree are not ready to come down yet.



Look Mom, peaches. They are really good too.



Tonight I decided to go to "Arsenic and Old Lace" at Hale Center Theater in Orem. It was fantastic. It was a preview, so the tickets were cheaper. I loved it. I forget how funny that show is.

Today we had our August Company Lunch. It was crazy. All our Regional Managers were in town. There is 11 of them. We had Cafe Rio and Raspberry Torte from Market Street Grill. We had to set up an extra table in our lobby area because of all the people.

Tonight, I was at the Knight's with Wendy watching the kids and then went to FHE. It was a combined ward swimming party at Bishop Swenson's. It would have been better if I had just walked. I was about half way home from where I parked. Oh well.
