Today our group went to the Manti Temple for a session. I absolutely love the Manti Temple. It is amazing to go back to Manti Temple. Today, I had a family name and her name was Helene Christensdatter from Denmark. It was interesting because as I was going into the session and the lady checked my card and she just said the name on it, Helene. It made me remember/ dawned on me that we really do the work for those that have gone on before us. The work is for them, and we receive blessings from it.






Afterwards, we went to Roy's pizza and headed home.

Tonight, I am down in Manti for the Mormon Miracle Pageant. I love the Mormon Miracle and have been coming for as long as I can remember. This year I came down with 5 people from my ward, 4 of which who have never seen the pageant. This year, the scene where the Mormon Battalion comes and asks Brigham Young for volunteers, after the pioneers had been kicked out of so many locations. Brigham Young goes off to ponder and you see Moroni, Indian Chief, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Joseph Smith. I love that scene. It shows how God knows what is happening and has a plan.



It is awful to see the fire that is happening to the West.

Today, the front desk person wasn't here, nor the other girl who helps answer the phones. I was on my own today for lunch and phones.



Tonight I went to the bridal shower for KaeCie Eberly. She is marrying my cousin in August in St. George. Beautiful clouds on the way home.

Today, I sent off the original closing documents for Waterford Place. It took two large boxes for FedEx to send them out. Don't worry, they only weighed 12 pounds...each.



Also today, a guy i work with gave me 7 CDs of Disneyland Resort music. Hooray!



Tonight I had a Ward Membership meeting at the Bishop's. Then we went and visited a sister in our ward.

Today I went and voted and I was given a wrong ballot. Oops! It was asking me to vote for a governor, which I knew wasn't right. I had to ask the nice people and they gave me the correct ballot with the right names on it.

Tonight we had an amazing Relief Society activity. It was a dinner that was very well planned. Have some amazing counselors. Tonight, we listened to Kate Zurcher play the harp. She is on her way to New Jersey tomorrow for a competition in the harp. She is one of 12 finalists.

Tonight we played kickball for FHE. There was only about 20 of us there in total. We each had 10 or more runs for each team. We kind of gave up on keeping score. My kicks were always caught by someone in the outfield.

Today I went to Uncle Kay and Aunt Diane's homecoming. They served in Kiev Ukraine Temple Presidency for the last almost two years. I loved how much they knew about the Temple and the stories they told of the people. I seriously take for granted that I live so near so many temples and don't have to save up the money to get to a temple.



Tonight, Brian and Elizabeth invited Uncle Tom and I to dinner for Honey Lime Enchiladas. They were amazing. We then played Thurns and Taxis and I won!! It was the first time I had spot in every color. Go me! :)

Today I went to work and then went to Friday Night Flicks with my ward. We watched "The Zookeeper", at least all but the last 15 minutes, when the sprinklers came on. We had been trying to turn them off for 15 minutes, but to no avail.
Last night my sock feel off and it woke me up twice because my sock was no longer on my foot. Still wasn't there this morning.



Also, it looks like my alarm clock from the Salvation Army is dying after almost 3 years. That is unfortunate. No, my alarm is not set for 1:00 am...it is for 7:00.

Tonight, I went to the Softball game for my ward. We had to forfeit because when the game started, we only had two girls. By the 2nd inning, we had 5 girls and 6 boys. The other team had to forfeit as well since they didn't have enough players.



Afterwards, I helped clean the chapel and then I put Maggie to bed while her family was at the Mormon Miracle in Manti.

Tonight was Ward Temple Night. We went and did initiatories at the Salt Lake Temple and then went to Gourmetdise for dessert. I had a dessert called The Peach. It was good, but really sugary.



And on the way home, our car stopped to see Gilgal, this interesting garden in the middle of Downtown, right by Trolley Square.

Tonight for Stake FHE, we had a BBQ and our recently released Stake President, President Michael Dunn, came and spoke. He told his bear attack story that was referenced when he spoke to us as president. He was attacked by a bear on August 14, 1994 in the Grand Tetons. He was attacked by a grizzly bear when he had gone for a run.
He was given a button that said "Live carefully-or this could happen to you.". It was about following the rules and living righteously.

Today was Father's day. My great counselor, Megan Zurcher made these cute tags after she found popcorn at the store. She is great at the design side of things.



I am grateful for my dad and all the support and love that he has given and shown to me throughout my 26 years. He always supports me in my decisions.

While mowing the lawn, I came across a dead rat on my back lawn. Gross! I screamed and promptly called Julie and Randy. Julie was my hero and came and took care of "him".

Tonight I went to the Chalk Festival at Gateway Mall for Foster Care with the Kobe's. I love it. Afterwards, I went and saw Men in Black 3 with Kaylene Martin.

Today, I started to complete a project that I had been doing bits and pieces of over a two week time period. Last week, I put all the labels on the envelopes and we got the brochure going inside. Today I received the letter, did the merge and now stuffing and sending them on their way.



Tonight, after my hair appointment, I went and watched our wars softball game.

Today, I went to an Endiodontist, Dr. Hair, to finish my root canal. I was very comfortable that I drifted in and out of sleep. Good times.






When I got back to work, the outside was beautiful. There was a ring around the sun and then a rainbow in the clouds.

Tonight I went to the Bee's game with work. We had a corporate suite. Well, Ultimate Harmony from Clayton sang the National Anthem. That was nice to see.
Also, tonight, the other team, Tacoma Rainers, had a pitcher that pitched a 101 MPH fastball. Wow!

Tonight I just stayed home and it was awesome! I watched a few episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and So You Think You Can Dance.



Pretty excited. Singin in the Rain is coming to the big screen for one night for the 60th Anniversary. Also, Star Trek: The Next Generation is showing 2 episodes on the large screen because of the 25th Anniversary. Awesome!!
